Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 August 2026
These terms govern your use of PadiBills, operated by Ifeanyichukwu Technologies Ltd ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The agreement
PadiBills is a digital wallet and bill-payment platform for people in Nigeria. You fund a Naira wallet and use it to pay airtime, data, electricity, cable TV, betting wallets, exam pins, and gift cards. We are not a deposit-taking bank and are not a CBN-licensed payment service provider. Payments are processed through licensed partners such as Flutterwave; bill fulfilment goes through VTU aggregators; gift-card buy and sell go through Prestmit.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must use a Nigerian mobile number that you control.
- One phone number maps to one personal account. Accounts are for natural persons, not other companies.
- You must complete the verification steps we require before funding or spending (name, email confirmation, transaction PIN, and for gift-card selling and bank withdrawals, BVN or NIN via a virtual account).
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password, OTP codes, and transaction PIN secret. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. We may send verification codes by email or SMS, and confirmation links by email.
Information you give us must be accurate. We may decline, limit, or close an account if verification fails, details are inconsistent, or activity looks like fraud or mule use.
4. Wallet, funding, and withdrawals
Your wallet balance is an internal ledger we keep so you can pay for services. You can fund it by card/checkout or by transfer to a PadiBills virtual account issued through Flutterwave. Credits appear after the payment partner confirms them. We do not pay interest on balances.
If your account is Verified (NIN or BVN via virtual account), you may withdraw available wallet naira — including funds you added, gift-card sale credits, and bonuses — to a Nigerian bank account you name. Withdrawals require your transaction PIN and are subject to daily limits. Before you confirm, we show the amount that will arrive in the bank, the payment partner’s transfer fee, a PadiBills fee, and the total debit from your wallet. Failed transfers release the reserved amount back to your wallet.
Purchases debit the wallet only after you confirm with your PIN. Failed purchases should not keep your money reserved; funds stay available or are released back to the wallet.
5. Referrals
You may share your referral code or link. If someone registers with it and then completes a first successful purchase (bills or gift-card buy), we may credit a wallet bonus to you. The amount and eligibility can change. We may withhold or reverse bonuses for self-referral, fake accounts, or other abuse.
6. Bill payment services
When you buy airtime, data, electricity, cable, betting credit, or exam pins, we send the request to a fulfilment partner. Delivery times depend on those networks. Always check the meter, decoder, phone, or betting ID before you pay — we cannot reverse a successful vend sent to the details you entered.
Prices, plans, and availability can change when partners update their catalogues. The amount shown at checkout is what we debit.
7. Gift cards
Gift-card buy and sell are higher risk than ordinary bills. Daily limits apply by KYC tier. Selling requires identity verification (BVN or NIN), a minimum account age, and a lower cap on the first trade. E-codes are hashed at rest. Payout for a sale is credited only after Prestmit verifies the card. Used, stolen, or invalid cards will be rejected. We may refuse a trade that looks fraudulent.
8. Prohibited use
- Using stolen, third-party, or mule accounts
- Creating fake accounts or self-referring to collect bonuses
- Submitting used or fraudulently obtained gift cards
- Circumventing KYC, limits, or sanctions screening we introduce
- Abuse, scraping, or interfering with the platform
- Any use that is illegal under Nigerian law
9. Failed transactions and disputes
If a purchase fails or does not arrive, open a dispute from the transaction receipt and include what you expected. We investigate with partners and may refund the wallet where the failure is on our side or the partner confirms a reversal. Successful vends to the details you supplied are not refundable as a customer preference.
10. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or deactivate an account to prevent fraud, to comply with law, or if you breach these terms. While suspended, you cannot log in or spend. You may request closure by emailing us; we retain records as required by Nigerian financial-record and data-protection rules (see the Privacy Policy).
11. Liability
We provide the platform as available. Partner outages, network delays, and incorrect beneficiary details you enter are outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a transaction is limited to the amount of that transaction. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
